chines, like the PFS/R Flocculant Laminator,
themost recent creationbySangati Berga for
the segment.
The PFS/R Flocculant Laminator is
equipped with a feeding roller with variable
speed, which distributes the product uni-
formly along the entire surface of the floccu-
lation cylinders and controls the product’s
feeding speed. A valve, externally controlled,
micrometrically controls the thickness of the
layer of theproduct, delivering to the lamina-
tion rollers a uniform and controlled layer in
order tomaximize the lamination results.
Composed essentially of two lamina-
tion cylinders, with a diameter of 600 mm.,
mountedona robust steel structure, thema-
chine is highly stable, with little noise or vi-
brations while in operation. The cylinders
parallelism and gap are micrometrically ad-
justable through position indicators outside
the machine. The adjustment can be carried
out while the machine is operating, in safe
manner and without any pressure reduction
between the rollers. A robust hydraulic con-
trol allows for adjusting a constant force be-
tween the rollers while nitrogen reservoirs
allow for a constant shock-absorbing effect
on the lamination cylinders protecting their
integrity in case strange matter happens to
pass throughacertain thickness.
All the internal surfaces are built in stain-
less steel, which, together with the absence
of blind spots or product retention, along
with thevast inspectiongates, turn thePFS/R
Flocculant Laminator into a machine com-
patible with the most discerning hygiene re-
quirementsof the food industry.
An aspiration duct, properly installed,
makes internal ventilation possible for re-
moving any dust or vapor from themachine,
alongwithcoolingdownthecylinders,which
areequipped for beingconnected to temper-
ature control circuits, so as to keep the sur-
face of the rollers at a temperature appropri-
ate for theprocess.
The PFS/R Flocculant Laminator is
equipped with highly reliable mechanical,
hydraulic and electric systems that provide
for high application efficiency. They are eas-
ily accessed for inspection and maintenance
purposes, through vast gates at the structure
of the machine, assuring short downtimes
andsmallermaintenance cost.
