ZERODEFORESTATION
The Roundtable Responsible Soy Association (RTRS) certifies soybeanwith zero deforestation in an unprecedentedmanner.
The RTRS Production Standard, which got its approval in 2016, is the onlymultisectoral certification scheme that ensures
zero deforestation in the production of responsible soybean. Itmeans that the farmer is not allowed to do any conversion of
natural vegetation, in sloping areas or areas designated by law, for native preservation or cultural and social protection. Since
2016, natural vegetation is protected. The new3.1 standard is a gradual change for the production of certified soybean.
